A long standing locals hangout and they have a great house band. Low lighting and decent prices, things I actually look for.

Great sound from the band. Atmosphere is a little dirty, as expected from a dive bar. Bartender is no nonsense but pour drink bombs. Booyah...

Not really, if I were you I would head to the Boulevard Bar on Foothill in Pasadena it would be perfect for you.

I don't believe they play blues

Same band Friday and Saturday, plays blues/classic rock. Different band Wednesday night, just classic rock.

Yes I believe the first set is at 8pm but if I'm being honest, the first set (for the band 'Pat O'Brian and the Priests of Love') is more of a warm up. I recommend going about 9pm. If you get there before the band starts, the drinks are a little cheaper. Have fun! It's a great place to have a good time!
